The agreement behind these terms
The version of these terms:
portal-2026-10- The data-sharing agreement between your company and TEGO governs the personal data they share:
- These terms bind you as a user of the portal: a person at an insurer or a partner whom TEGO has invited to it.
- You accept these terms the first time you sign in to the portal.
What the portal is for
- At an insurer, you use the portal to decide on the files TEGO sends your company, and to administer the policies and claims that follow.
- At a partner, you use the portal to refer customers to TEGO, and to follow your company's own referrals and its commission.
- You use the portal, and what it shows you, for these purposes only.
Confidentiality
- Files here hold other people's personal data: do not screenshot or share.
- Beyond what the data-sharing agreement allows your company, you do not copy, export or forward anything from the portal to anyone outside your team.
- [For legal review: what a user may pass on inside their company, or to its providers, for the purposes in clause 2]
- You keep TEGO's rates and commissions confidential.
Your account
- Your account is yours alone. TEGO opens it for your own work email address when it invites you.
- Each time you sign in, TEGO emails you a six-digit code, which works once and lasts 10 minutes. There is no password.
- Once you sign in, your session lasts 30 days on that browser. Sign out ends it.
- You never share a sign-in code or a session, and you never sign in for someone else.
- On a device other people use, you sign out when you finish.
- If you think someone else has used your account, or that something from the portal has reached someone it should not, you tell TEGO at once:
Activity is recorded
- TEGO records what you do in the portal: each sign-in, each document you download and each change you make, with who did it and when.
- At an insurer, TEGO also records each file you open, and at a partner, each referral you open.
- The record holds no IP address and nothing about your device.
- TEGO's staff see this record, with your name on each entry, and may review it. At an insurer, people on your team see your entries on a file by name.
- How long TEGO keeps this record: [To be confirmed: how long]
- [For legal review: how TEGO tells users what it does with their own personal data]
Suspension and end of access
- TEGO may suspend or end your access at any time.
- Your company tells TEGO when you leave it, and TEGO then ends your access.
- When TEGO suspends or ends your access, you are signed out at once, on every device.
- [For legal review: which of these terms still apply after your access ends]
Changes and law
- Each change to these terms is published on this page as a new version, with its date.
- You accept each new version the next time you sign in.
- The laws of Mauritius govern these terms.
