What these are
A cookie is a small piece of text that a website asks your browser to keep. Your browser sends it back to that website each time it loads one of its pages.
Your browser also has two stores that a website's pages can write to: session storage and local storage. Unlike a cookie, what they hold is not sent with each page; TEGO's pages read it in your browser.
Each one below is listed under the name your browser shows for it.
Cookies TEGO sets
Every cookie here is TEGO's own: TEGO's website sets it, and only TEGO's website receives it.

What TEGO keeps in your browser
Session storage belongs to one tab, and is cleared when the tab closes.
Local storage stays in your browser after the tab closes, until it is cleared.

Portals preview
The portals preview runs on sample data and sends nothing to TEGO.

What TEGO does not use
TEGO sets no analytics, advertising or social media cookies.
TEGO's pages run no analytics, advertising or tracking script, and load nothing from another company except the typefaces.
The typefaces on TEGO's pages load from Google Fonts, which sees your IP address.
Google Fonts sets no cookie.
Cloudflare hosts TEGO's website. No cookie of Cloudflare's own was seen on the demonstration site.
Whether Cloudflare adds one on tego.mu is still to be checked:

Your choices
Your browser's settings show the cookies and site data each website keeps, and let you delete or block them.
Clearing TEGO's site data signs you out and empties a quote in progress.
TEGO shows no cookie banner, because each cookie and each entry here serves something you asked for, or keeps the site secure.
